Uninstall CA Service Desk Manager (Windows)

Uninstall CA Service Desk Manager 14.1.03
Perform the following steps to uninstall CA SDM 14.1.03 on Windows:
  1. Log in to CA SDM as an Administrator.
  2. Shut down CA Service Desk Manager Server.
  3. Navigate to the location 
    where you have extracted the CA Service Management Installer zip package
  4. Locate 
    CASM_14.1.03_CommonPatchInstaller_Win\filestore\utils\ApplyPTF 
    folder.
  5. Click 
    APPLYPTF.exe
    .  
  6. Select 
    Backout PTF
     from the local or remote nodes option.
  7. Click 
    Next
    .
  8. Enter the
     
    binary for the language-independent patch. The following language-independent binary and language-dependent patches are supported:
    • Binary: 
      RO90508
    • Language Master CAZ
      : RO90509
    • English:
       RO90511
    • French: 
      RO90512
    • French Canadian: 
      RO90513
    • German:
       RO90514
    • Spanish:
       RO90515
    • Italian:
       RO90516
    • Japanese: 
      RO90517
    • Brazilian Portuguese: 
      RO90521
    • Simplified Chinese: 
      RO90522
  9. Click 
    Next
     to uninstall CA SDM 14.1.03. 
  10. Repeat steps 
    6-9
     to remove the required language-dependent patch. 
  11. To restore the MDB database, revert to the database backup that you took before applying the patch.

Uninstall the xFlow Analyst Interface
Perform the following steps to uninstall the xFLow Analyst Interface (Windows): 
  1. Click
    Start
    ,
    Control Panel
    ,
    Uninstall a Program
    to uninstall xFlow Analyst Interface. 
    Or
  2. Navigate to where you have installed the xFlow Analyst Interface (for example,
    C:/Program Files/CA/xFlow)
  3. Select 
    xFlowAnalystInterface
    _installation
    and click
    Change xFlow Analyst Interface Installation.exe
     to complete the uninstallation process.
Uninstall the Search Server
Perform the following steps to uninstall the search server (Windows): 
  1. Click 
    Start
    Control Panel
    Uninstall a Program and
    right-click
    SearchServer 
    to uninstall the Search Server. 
    Or
  2. Navigate to where you have installed Search Server (for example,
    C:/Program Files/CA/SC). 
  3. Open
     the
    SearchServer
    folder and
     
    select 
    SearchServer_Installation.
    Click
    Change SearchServer Installation.exe
     to complete the uninstallation process.
