After upgrading to
xFlow Interface
 17.2 the
xFlow Interface
 Custom Changes are Lost
After installing or upgrading to
CA Service Management
17.2 the casm.conf.js file overwrites the modifications you made in the previously installed
CA Service Management
version. So the custom changes you made to
xFlow Interface
 in the previously used
CA Service Management
 version are lost.
You can manually update the casm.conf.js file under the below
CA Service Management
 17.2 installation location:

<
xFlow Interface
 Installed Directory>\APPS\Services\incidentmicroservice-17.2.479\public\conf

For your reference, a back-up of the casm.conf.js file from the previously used
CA Service Management
solution version is saved under the path,
<
xFlow Interface
 Installed Directory>\REPLACED\xFlow-CUM1-17.2.0.0\APPS\Services\incidentmicroservice-0.1-SNAPSHOT\public\conf.

After Upgrading to
CA Service Management
 17.2, the
xFlow Interface
Website on IIS Shows Error Message
Symptom:

After upgrading to
CA Service Management
 17.2, IIS Manager shows the
xFlow Interface
node in stopped status. But when I try to expand the
xFlow Interface
node, the below error message appears:
Could not find a part of the 'C:\Program Files\CA\xFlow\APPS\UI\IISWebsite'.

Solution:

No action required. This error message appears because the
xFlow Interface
is hosted on Netty server in 17.2 release, and does not use IIS. The
xFlow Interface
node appears in IIS Manager to support
CA Service Management
17.1, when you choose to uninstall 17.2 patch and revert to 17.1 for any reason.

After Upgrading to
CA Service Management
17.2.0.3, Missing xFlow Analyst Interface Service
Symptom:
After Upgrading to
CA Service Management
17.2.0.3, the  xFlow Analyst Interface Service is missing.
Solution:
To display the xFlow Analyst Interface Service, navigate to
C:\Program Files\CA\xFlow\APPS
and run the following command.
xFlowSvc.exe //IS//xFlowServer --DisplayName "CA xFlow Analyst Interface" --Description "xFlow components for creating, updating, and resolving tickets." --Install "C:\Program Files\CA\xFlow\APPS\xFlowSvc.exe" --Jvm "C:\Program Files\CA\SC\jre\11.0.3\bin\server\jvm.dll" --Classpath "C:\Program Files\CA\xFlow\APPS\Launcher.jar" --StartMode jvm --StartClass com.ca.install.l1analyst.L1AnalystLauncher --StartMethod start --StartParams "C:\Program Files\CA\xFlow\APPS\ServiceConfig.xml" --StopMode jvm --StopClass com.ca.install.l1analyst.L1AnalystLauncher --StopMethod stop --StopParams "C:\Program Files\CA\xFlow\APPS\ServiceConfig.xml" --LogPath "C:\Program Files\CA\xFlow\APPS\logs" --StdOutput auto --StdError auto --Startup manual;

The command is also available in the
xFlow_Interface_17.2.0.3_Install
 logfile at
