HID_Behavior_Template
A behavior template defines an action when a task changes status. For example, an email notification can be sent to a manager when the status of an approval task changes to Pending.
If multi-tenancy is installed, select the appropriate tenant from the drop-down list. The public (shared) option creates the object for all tenants.
The Create New Behavior Template page contains the following fields:
  • Status
Specifies the status of the template, such as Approve or Pending.
  • Active
Specifies if the template is active or inactive.
  • Description
Specifies a description of the template.
This page also contains the following tabs:
  • To Do
Identifies selected macros to run when the status change identified in the Status field takes place.
  • Transition Information
Identifies conditions that prevent the task from reaching the specified status, prior to the macros on the To Do tab run.
All behaviors defined for a specific issue or change category are listed on the Workflow Task Template Detail window for that category and become part of any issue or change order that is assigned to that category.
