Enable the Guest Login

Guest accounts allow temporary login to Service Point without requiring to provide credentials. The guest login option is available on the Service Point login page.

Guest accounts allow temporary login to Service Point without requiring to provide credentials. The guest login option is available on the Service Point login page.
While creating a ticket in Service Point, a guest user must provide an email address or phone number to complete the ticket creation process. Guest users cannot view the ticket they created if they logout and log back in. This article explains how to enable guest login for Service Point.
Follow these steps:
  1. Log in to CA SDM as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to
    Administration
    ,
    Options Manager
    ,
    Security,
    use the
    GUEST_USER_NAME
    option in SDM to Install/Uninstall Guest Login.
    1. Value of
      GUEST_USER_NAME
      is the user ID of contact which is used for guest login.
    2. If
      GUEST_USER_NAME
      option is uninstalled or the value is empty, it will disable the guest login.
    3. Guest login works only when Authentication type is set to
      Basic Authentication
      type (Navigate to
      Administration
      ,
      xFlow Interface
      ,
      General
      ,
      General Configuration
      , and update the authentication type to
      BASIC
      .
