Login to Service Point
  1. Launch a supported web browser and enter the URL.
    For example, http://<hostname>:<port number>
  2. Specify your CA Service Desk Manager (CA SDM) username and password.
  3. (Optional) Select 'Remember Me' to save your credentials.
  4. Click

View Announcements in Service Point
Announcements alert users about events, outages, or anything that is important to them. These are displayed as a banner in the announcements widget.
Announcements can differ for each user and are displayed based on the location and organization.
View Notifications in Service Point
Notifications inform users of events, ticket updates, and contextual collaboration (chat) that concern them.
The number of unread notifications are displayed on the notification icon.
The types of notifications are:
  1. Event Notifications:
    You are notified when a ticket is opened, closed, or modified through its historical information.
  2. Chat Notifications:
    You are notified when an analyst initiates a chat.
