The Calculated Data Lock feature allows administrators to establish locks that prevent recalculation on data for a contract.
To access the feature, click Administration, select ACE Management, and select Calculated Data Lock.
Follow these steps:
  1. From the Lock Calculations before section, click the drop-down lists and select the year and month of the locking date.
The date selection is a starting point in time, around which the lock direction is determined.
  2. From the Lock Direction section, move the lock date through one of the following option buttons:
    • An earlier date
Locks recalculations on data earlier than your selected date.
    • A later date
Locks recalculations on data later than your selected date.
    • Any direction
Locks recalculations in both directions from your selected date.
  3. Optionally, you can narrow your search and can apply the locking dates to specific contracts and contract parameters.
    1. To find relevant contracts, enter the following information:
        • Contract Name
        • Contract Status, that is Effective, Not effective, or Archived.
        • Effective Between dates
    2. Optionally, click the Save icon and give your search results a name and description for future reference.
  4. Click Show Relevant Contracts.
A list of all contracts matching the search criteria opens.
  5. Select the contracts whose data you are locking.
  6. Click Lock.
The data corresponding to the selected contracts and dates is now locked to recalculation.
