Publish in Catalog

Publish software package, software group in a catalog so that the software are visible for the selected computer groups. You can publish only the required software groups or software packages to the catalog. This functionality is available only on Domain Manager.

Publish software package, software group in a catalog so that the software are visible for the selected computer groups. You can publish only the required software groups or software packages to the catalog. This functionality is available only on Domain Manager.
Follow these steps:
  1. From the Package Library, select one or more software groups and software packages that are sealed, and click Publish in Catalog.
  2. Provide the details in the Identification tab and click Next.
    Name
    Specifies the name of the published package.
    Comment
    Provides more information about the published package. The comment appears in the Comment column of <published package> lists displayed on the screen.
    Computer Group
    Identifies the group of computers that you want to include in the published package.
  3. Add members from the displayed list and click Next.
  4. (Optional) Click Add Members from the Actions pane to add more members to the list.
  5. Verify the Publish details and click Finish.
    The software package is successfully published in a Catalog.
