Create an Agency
Define the basic contact information for the U.S. federal government agency, or other organization with whom you engage in contracts. Use the
create agency
page to define the agency and associate the agency to the contract.
Follow these steps:
  1. Open Home, and from Earned Value Management, click Agencies.
  2. Click New.
  3. Complete the information on the page. The following field requires a description:
    • Active
      Defines if the agency can be associated with a contract. You can only associate active agencies with contracts.
      Default:
      Selected
  4. Save the changes.
    The agency is created and displayed on the agencies list page.
Activate, Deactivate, or Delete an Agency
  • When you create an agency, the agency is active by default. You can only associate active agencies with contracts.
  • Deactivate agencies that are associated with contracts that are no longer used.
  • You can reactivate inactive agencies at any time.
  • To delete an agency, it must be inactive or not associated with a contract.
Follow these steps:
  1. Open the agency.
  2. Complete any of the following steps:
    1. To activate an agency, select the check box next to the Active field.
    2. To deactivate an agency, clear the check box next to the Active field.
    3. To delete an agency, filter the list for inactive agencies, select the check box next to the agency name, click Delete, and confirm the deletion.
  3. Save the changes.
