Portfolio Provider
Use the 123 attributes in this data provider to develop chart and grid portlets for displaying data about one or more portfolios. This provider includes fields for displaying investment, distributed, and target portfolio data.
  • Above Waterline

    Use this portfolio investment object attribute to filter the investments that are included in the investment aggregation amounts. This filter enables users to view the role capacity, demand, and remaining amounts for all investments (All), or only investments above (Yes) or below (No) the waterline.

    Use this attribute to display the customer or provider department portfolios. The department attribute acts as a provider type field where users can select Customer or Provider. The portfolios for departments that fund investments are called customer portfolios. The costs of shared investments in each related portfolio appear. Investments are included in the customer department portfolios as long as chargeback rules exist to charge that department. The portfolios for departments that own the investments are called provider department portfolios. All of the investments that the department owns are included in the portfolio. Investments are included in the provider department portfolios as long as they are owners of those investments.

Entity definitions are the foundation for financial plans and help make sense of investment costs. You can set up defaults at the entity level to suggest the recommended cost plan structure for your organization. For example, predefine the fiscal time period type and the grouping attributes for all cost plans. The default values are automatically populated for individual investment cost plans at the time you create them. Project managers can change these defaults for their specific investments.

You can configure a sync job schedule to refresh a portfolio automatically at a recurring time interval such as weekly. You can also run the sync job manually.
