APM Application Dashboard Retirement

The Retirement tab in the Application Dashboard shows applications that have been tagged for retirement. You can easily view those applications that are currently planned for retirement and their retirement strategy and target date. This tab consists of the following portlets.

Use the page-level filters to filter all portlets at once by OBS, Application Source, Installation Type, Application Vendor, Software Category, and Software Sub-Category. To access this tab, click Home, Dashboards, Application Dashboard. Select the Retirement tab.

Annual Planned Cost by Retirement Strategy Portlet
The Annual Planned Cost by Retirement Strategy portlet displays a donut graph showing annual planned cost by retirement strategy. The portlet provides a quick view of the annual planned cost percentage distribution by retirement strategy for applications that are tagged for retirement. Rolling your cursor over a segment displays the annual planned cost.
The portlet includes the same filters as the page, except for the Software Sub-Category filter.
This portlet includes the following metric:
  • Annual Planned Cost.
    This amount is derived from the application Cost Plan of Record under Financial Planning. Costs are displayed for the current fiscal year. If the application does not have a Cost Plan, this amount is derived from the application Financial Summary Planned Cost that is prorated for the current fiscal year.
Application Count by Retirement Strategy Portlet
The Application Count by Retirement Strategy portlet displays a donut graph showing a count of applications by retirement strategy. The portlet provides a quick view of the percentage of applications that are tagged for retirement by retirement strategy. Rolling your cursor over a segment displays the application count.
The portlet includes the same filters as the page, except for the Software Sub-Category filter.
This portlet includes the following metric:
  • Application Count.
    This amount is a count of applications.
Application Retirement Candidates Portlet
The Application Retirement Candidates grid portlet displays those applications that are tagged for retirement. Organizations can use this portlet to manage applications that are targeted for retirement throughout the retirement stage.
  • Rolling your cursor over a score in the grid displays the score value.
  • You can click an application to navigate to the application properties page.
This portlet is prefiltered to include only those applications that have the Tagged for Retirement attribute checked. Also, the portlet contains the same filters as the page, except for the Software Sub-Category filter.
This portlet includes the following metrics:
  • Value Score.
    This score is an aggregated calculated attribute that is derived from the application latest assessment that has a status equal to Final.
  • Technical Score.
    This score is an aggregated calculated attribute that is derived from the application latest assessment that has a status equal to Final.
  • Risk Score.
    This score is an aggregated calculated attribute that is derived from the application latest assessment that has a status equal to Final. 
  • Number of Users.
    This amount is the Number of Users field from the application properties page.
  • Annual Planned Cost.
    This amount is derived from the application Cost Plan of Record under Financial Planning. Costs are displayed for the current fiscal year. If the application does not have a Cost Plan, this amount is derived from the application Financial Summary Planned Cost that is prorated for the current fiscal year.
