This release of CA Application Delivery Analysis includes the following new features and enhancements.
Modern Dashboards and In-Context Data Correlation and Analytics
Application Delivery Analysis
sends the aggregated metrics and alarms data to the AI-driven operation intelligence solution. The functionalities are as follows:
  • Self-service Dashboards:
Out-of-the-box dashboards that are easy to use and use custom attributes to customize the out of the box dashboards.
  • Alarm Analytics:
to reduce alarm fatigue and the root cause analysis
  • Performance Analytics
    to use correlated charts
  • Data Export:
Export CA Application Delivery Analysis Data (inventory, topology, metrics) using Digital Operational Intelligence Query APIs for third-party solutions.
Support for Multi-tenancy
Application Delivery Analysis
supports multi-tenancy for managed service providers to enable secure customer visibility and allows you to segregate data based on the tenant-domain mapping. You can map the custom domain to the Data source (Collector) to segregate server, network, and application metric data. You can also view the segregated data based on the domain in CA Performance Center. The primary benefit of multi-tenancy is data security, that is, segregating data based on the tenant-domain mapping to a collector. For more information, see Enable multi-tenancy in CA ADA.
Operating System Platform Support
This release supports Microsoft Windows Server 2016 (64-bit) Standard with the latest service packs. For more information, see Supported Operating Systems.
Support for Software-Defined Network (SDN) Monitoring – Cisco ACI Monitoring
This release supports software-defined network (SDN) monitoring in the data center environments. CA Technologies has partnered with Ixia (a Key sight Business)) to provide a solution for Cisco ACI monitoring. The joint CA Application Delivery Analysis (CA ADA) and Ixia (a Keysight Business) solution provide the end-to-end response-time-monitoring capabilities. You can use these capabilities to track and optimize the end-user experience irrespective of where the application is deployed. For more information, see Integrate CA ADA with IXIA Visibility Architecture.
