docker_monitor (Docker Monitoring)

The Docker Monitoring (docker_monitor) probe monitors the health and performance of your docker environment. You can generate Quality of Service (QoS) and alarm messages for the following components:

The Docker Monitoring (docker_monitor) probe monitors the health and performance of your docker environment. You can generate Quality of Service (QoS) and alarm messages for the following components:
  • Host (single host system or swarm)
  • Containers
  • Images
  • Volumes
You can connect to your environment as follows:
  • Local:
    uses a socket connection to the Docker API
  • Remote:
    uses either secure (TLS) or non-secure TCP connection to the Docker API
Docker provides a container-based virtualization platform that you can use to develop, ship, and execute applications. You can run Docker on a single host system or pool several host systems together in a swarm to scale your virtualization environment.
