wasp (Web Application Server Probe)

The Web Application Server Probe (wasp) is an embedded Tomcat web server that runs as a probe. Wasp and the web applications running on the wasp provide access to CA UIM data through portlets in the Unified Management Portal (UMP). Wasp is installed during the installation of UMP. When you access UMP for the first time, your web browser downloads the client component of UMP from wasp.

You can distribute the wasp probe to a separate robot from UMP on either a primary or secondary hub.
