When installed, the Data Service Probe contains default configuration for HTTP (port 7160) and HTTPS (port 7161). You might need to change the default port configuration if the ports are not available.
Follow these steps:
  1. Open the following directory from the computer where the Data Service Probe is installed:
    $UIM_HOME\probes\service\zdataservice\data
    Note:
$UIM_HOME represents the directory where you installed CA Unified Infrastructure Management.
  2. Using a text editing application such as Notepad or WordPad, open the daas_conf.yml file, and change configuration for the HTTP port and the HTTPS port. To find the HTTP and HTTPS ports, search for the following strings and replace the "port: <portNumber>"  field with the desired value.
    HTTP_PORT (Default: 7160)
    HTTPS_PORT (Default: 7161)
  3. Save the changes.
  4. Restart the Data Service Probe to reflect the changes.
The Data Service Probe configuration file is designed using the yaml (yml) file format. The yaml file format is structured in an indented, outline appearance, which lets you easily view or edit the information about the data structures. You can use an online yaml parser, such as http://yaml-online-parser.appspot.com/ to verify that your changes to the configuration file are structured properly.
