Unable to Resolve Issue
If you cannot resolve an issue, use the CA Remote Engineer (CARE) tool.
If you cannot resolve an issue, run the CA Remote Engineer (CARE) tool. Broadcom Support uses the information that this tool collects to help you troubleshoot issues. This tool includes configuration files in its scripts directory for every product that CARE supports.

Run the CARE Tool
When prompted by Broadcom Support, collect troubleshooting data by running CARE.
Follow these steps:
- At a command prompt, navigate to the relevant installation directory by issuing the following command:cd <Component_Install_Directory>
- Component_Install_DirectorySpecify the directory where CARE is installed.
- Issue the following command:./re.shThe first time that you run the command, a license agreement appears.
