(Optional) Specify ACLs at the Policy Level

After you specify your global SNMP settings with optional global Access Control Lists (ACLs) for a  policy, you can define ACLs at the policy level.

policy, you can define ACLs at the policy level.
Follow these steps:
  1. On the Policy page, select one of the following options to apply global SNMP settings from the table:
    • Include Server Communities and all Default Communities (Global Communities)
    • Custom Selection
  2. Select a global SNMP Settings object from the table and click
    View
    or
    None Defined
    .
  3. On the ACL dialog, add the names or IP addresses of the manager systems to the
    Policy-specific SNMP Access Control Lists
    field, then click
    OK
    .
    The servers of the server group to which to apply the policy accept SNMP requests from the specified manager systems.
  4. Click
    Save Policy
    .
