managed systems.Follow these steps:
- Navigate toResources,Explore.
- In the Explore pane, expand theExploretree and right-click the system for which to specify SNMP credentials and an ACL.
- SelectPolicy,Configure SNMP Settings.TheSNMP Settingsdialog lists the valid SNMP settings for the system.
- ClickAdd.
- On theNew SNMP Settingsdialog, specify Name, Port, Community String, the type of operation (read-only or read/write), SNMP version, port, timeout, and retry limit. Use the port number of the installedCA SystemEDGEon the server.
- ClickOK.
- Close the dialogs, change to the selected system page, and click theMonitoring Software,SNMP Access Controltab.The specified system-specificSNMP Community Settingsare listed.
- Click theEditlink from theAccess Control Listcolumn.
- On the system-specific Access Control List dialog, enter manager system names in theSNMP Access Control Listfield and click OK.The managed system accepts SNMP requests from manager systems that you list in the ACL.
- ClickSave.
