You can specify Access Control Lists (ACLs) for hse SNMP credentials at the global, policy, and system level. To minimize the dependency on system-specific SNMP objects, associate the ACLs with global SNMP objects.

from the user interface.Follow these steps:
- Navigate toAdministration,SNMP.TheSNMP Settingspage opens.
- (Optional) To create an SNMP Settings object, clickActions,New.TheNew SNMP Settingsdialog opens. An SNMP Settings object consists of
- A name
- The community string
- The operation type (read-only or read/write)
- The SNMP version, port, timeout, retry limit, and ACL
- Specify the required data to create an SNMP Settings object, then clickOK.
- Select the SNMP Settings object to which to add an ACL, then click theEditicon.
- On theEdit SNMP Settings dialog with ACLpanel, specify the names or IP addresses of the manager systems under thePolicy Configuration SystemEDGE Access Control Listpanel, then clickOK.The ACL for a specific global SNMP Settings object is specified.
You can apply the global SNMP Settings object with the ACL to policies.
