Specify the Read-Write Community (Post-installation)
For full hse monitoring and management functionality, specify a valid read/write SNMP community for the hse agent. If you already deployed the agent, you can use either of the following methods to add the read/write community string after installation:

agent. If you already deployed the agent, you can use either of the following methods to add the read/write community string after installation:- Create a server-specific SNMP entry.
- Create a global SNMP entry that you can use to monitor and manage multiple systems.
Follow these steps to create a server-specific SNMP entry:
- Click the Resources tab, open the Configure pane, expand Policies, and clickSystemEDGE.
- On the Available Policies page, select the policy from the Available Policies table.
- On the Summary page for the selected policy, click theTraps and Communitiestab.
- On the Communities page, selectInclude only Server-specific SNMP settings.
- ClickSave Policy.
Follow these steps to create a global SNMP entry:
- ClickAdministration.
- On the Administration page, clickConfiguration.
- On the Configuration page, clickSNMP.
- Select the check box for the SNMP settings to edit, then click thetool icon (Edit).
- On the Edit SNMP Settings dialog, selectRead-Writefrom the Access Type drop-down, specify the parameters in the Community String field, and clickOK.
- Click the Resources tab, open the Configure pane, expand Policies, and clickSystemEDGE.
- On the Available Policies page, select the policy from the Available Policies table.
- On the Summary page for the selected policy, click theTraps and Communitiestab.
- On the Communities page, selectInclude Server-specific SNMP settings and selected Default Settings.
- ClickSave Policy.
