Track Deployment Job Status

You can track the progress and status of a deployment job after it starts. The Jobs tab displays the job name, included packages, and job status of all deployment jobs. You can navigate to view more details about a specific job, including why a job failed.

You can track the progress and status of a deployment job after it starts. The Jobs tab displays the job name, included packages, and job status of all deployment jobs. You can navigate to view more details about a specific job, including why a job failed.
In the Job Status pane, you can select filters to display specific job tasks.
Follow these steps:
  1. Select
    Resources
    ,
    Deploy
    .
    The Deployment pane displays the Packages, Templates, and Jobs.
  2. Click the Jobs folder.
  3. On the Job Status page, click a job to view.
  4. In the Task Status pane on the Job Information page, use an available filter to display specific job tasks.
  5. To view extended information about a task, click
    Status Extended
    .
    The Extended Status information dialog opens and displays details about the task:
    • Information
      Displays general information about the task.
    • Message
      Displays a message about the task (for example, Package delivery failed).
    • Reason
      Displays the reason for the failure.
      Examples:
      • Lack of machine availability
      • Invalid system credentials
      • Inability to resolve the system host name
      • Unfulfilled package dependency
    • Action
      Displays the suggested action to correct the issue.
