Configure and View Applied Policies
Use the Policy feature to complete the following operations to manage the policies and templates that are applied to an individual server, server group, or service:

Use the Policy feature to complete the following operations to manage the policies and templates that are applied to an individual server, server group, or service:
- Update Policies and Templates
- View exceptions since the last policy or template application.
- View policy configuration
- View policy errors
- Bulk update Policies
- Delete Templates
Follow these steps:
- Open theExplorepane.Available groups, services, and systems are displayed.
- Select a system or a service.
- Click the Resources page, and then Monitoring Software.
- On the Machine Details page, click Policies.The Policies page listsCA SystemEDGEand SRM policies and listsCA SystemEDGETemplates.The Filter displays a list of layered templates in Pending, Delivered (successful), Configured, and Failed states.
- To update policies and templates in bulk in the Policies and Templates table, select the policies or templates to update, click Actions, and select one of the following options:
- Bulk updateCA SystemEDGEPolicies
- Bulk update Service Response Policies
- Bulk updateCA SystemEDGETemplates
- Bulk remove Templates
If you are applying the policy to a single server,Server Automationprompts you for the policy name. - Click Apply Policy.
- On the Policies page, review the progress of the policy or template being applied.
- (Optional) Click View Configuration.The Policy Configuration page opens. For a machine with a template, the page displays the Policies, Templates, andCA SystemEDGEConfiguration file. For a machine with a Service Response Monitor, the page also displays the Service Response Monitor Configuration file.
- Click Save Policy.
