Resolved Issues in 10.4.3.1
This release contains the following fixed defects:
  • Symptom:
    DX NetOps Spectrum
    does not display any VNA NSX-T alarm on the Alarms tab only on the Events tab.
    Resolution:
    Certified 81 NSX-T alarms. Details in the attached file. (DE492680, 10.4.3.1)
  • Symptom:
    Some alarms of SilverPeak raised in
    DX NetOps Spectrum
    are not cleared when
    DX NetOps Spectrum
    receives clear events instruction from DX NetOps VNA.
    Resolution:
    Add the clear events for clearable alarms of SilverPeak.
    Follow these steps
    1. Add clear alarm code from 0x067310d5 to 0x0673113f.
    2. Add the following fields in Event format files of SilverPeak:
      closed: {S 210}

  • Symptom:
    SpectroSERVER computes the LACP threshold and generates events and alarms when the LACP threshold value is configured as 0,0,0 for the minor, major, and critical respectively.
    Resolution:
    SpectroSERVER does not compute the LACP threshold when the LACP threshold values are configured as 0,0,0 for the minor, major, and critical respectively. (DE454087, DE491596, 32445097, 10.4.3.1)
  • Symptom:
    Notifier is sending old alarms from primary SpectroSERVER.
    Resolution:
    Improved processing of the existing alarms and avoid processing of delayed alarms due to sync issues between primary and secondary SpectroSERVER. (DE443156, 20064592, 10.4.3.1)
  • Symptom:
    Frequent getEvents (passing mh) REST calls cause OneClick WebServer crash with OutOfMemory error due to ArrayList objects consumption grows and leads to OutOfMemory.
    Resolution:
    Clear the ArrayList instance when its usage is no more required. The OutOfMemeory does not occur for frequent getEvents(passing mh) REST calls. (DE469161, 32084674, 10.4.3.1)
  • Symptom:
    Due to changes in  10.4.2, if SRadmin is not selected, the first line is skipped if there is no empty line in the captured running-config file.
    Resolution:
    This scenario was taken care of while SRadmin was not selected for NCM. (DE481216, 32272653, 10.4.3.1)
  • Symptom:
    SRM NCM buckets are not processed properly with data encoding errors.
    Resolution:
    Code changes are made to process the SRM NCM buckets properly. (DE484263, , 10.4.3.1)
  • Symptom:
    If updates are received by AlarmNotifier before a new alarm notification is sent, then the SET script uses updated alarm attributes for notification.
    Resolution:

  • Symptom:
    Few monthly maintenance schedules such as "First Sunday of every month" are not working as expected.
    Resolution:

  • Symptom:
    With changes introduced in
    DX NetOps Spectrum
    10.4.2.1 to support Service Units in Linux the processd.pl script was changed to execute systemctl which does not exist on the Windows platform and therefore running the script does nothing now on windows.
    Resolution:
    Code changes are made to run the correct script on the windows and Linux platforms. (DE493404, 10.4.3.1)
  • Symptom:
     Authentication Failed for Local users only.
    Resolution:
      Code changes are made to authenticate the local users is successful for Local users. (DE493405, 32532384, 10.4.3.1)
  • Symptom:
    For Huawei VRP models, the Information tab OneClick view is not showing more than 100 entries and for other model types some times showing empty lines.
    Resolution:

  • Symptom:
    SpectroSERVER crashes while handling V3/V2 traps if the overCommStr string points to NULL.

  • Symptom:
    SPM Tests are missed/not visible after SpectroSERVER restart
    Resolution:

  • Symptom:
    Model Class was not set as per the CSV file when the customer is importing data using the CSV file from the Device Certification dialogue.
    Resolution:
    Corrected the code so that the correct model class is set as per the CSV file. (DE494229, , 10.4.3.1)
  • Symptom:
    The dbmigrate utility crashed during
    DX NetOps Spectrum
    upgrade to 10.4.3 with the dbmigration option.
    Resolution:
    Code changes are made to fix the dbmigrate crash by accessing the valid memory locations. (DE495917, 32586359, 10.4.3.1)
  • Symptom:
    NCM running configuration failed in the case of large configuration files.
    Resolution:
    NCM GRPC communication channel maximum receives message size set to default value 4MB. Changed the Receive message size to 64MB. (DE496405, 32582829 , 10.4.3.1)
  • Symptom:
    Crash observed in Qualys security scan in OpenSSL zlib_stateful_init API.
    Resolution:
    zlib_stateful_init method is part of OpenSSL in the case of OpenSSL build with zlib. Rebuilt OpenSSL without zlib. (DE496191, 10.4.3.1)
  • Symptom:
    Null Pointer Exception for IS_COMPOSED_OF relation deletion in catalina.out file.
    Resolution:
    Code changes are made to avoid Null Pointer exceptions when you delete the IS_COMPOSED_OF relation. (DE494693, 32534426, 10.4.3.1)
  • Symptom:
    External connection requests on 14023 port cause the Socket FDs growth on the SpectroSERVER process.
    Resolution:

    List type attribute read failure causes memory leak.
    Resolution:
    Code changes are done to avoid memory leak when the List type attribute read fails. (DE488887, 32455948, 10.4.3.1)
  • Symptom:
    OnlineBackup fails to synchronize the primary SpectroSERVER SSdb file to Secondary SpectroSERVER.
    Resolution:
     After triggering OLB action it synchronizes the primary SpectroSERVER SSdb file to Secondary SpectroSERVER.  Note: If OLB fails,  Add "export PROCESSD_LCOPY=TRUE" env variable to $SPECROOT/lib/SDPM/processd_init.sh file on secondary SpectroSERVER machine. (DE485890, 10.4.3.1)

    Resolution:

    After device reconfiguration with some new Interfaces, the LACP configuration is not correct.
    Resolution:

  • Symptom:
    ArchMgr crashes very frequently.
    Resolution:

    Multiple issues
    • Tomcat startup is taking a long time >1hr.
    • LDAP Authentication issue and users cannot log into OneClick Client.

    When the LDAP server gets changed behind a Load-Balancer, it causes an LDAP authentication issue and users cannot log into the OneClick client.

    For many applicable interfaces, the interface status is shown as N/A though the corresponding OID is sending value.

    Telnet/SSH window requires the user to click/tab in order to enter user login and password.
    Resolution:

    The datacenter is not shown in the vCenter hierarchy and the datacenter table in the OneClick console.
    Resolution:
    Identified that the datacenter model exists in the wrong landscape. After deleting that model and restart the gateway probe, the datacenter is modeled in the correct landscape and it is updated in the datacenter table in the OneClick view. (DE482836, 32320663, 10.4.3)
  • Symptom:
    Modeling Gateway is merging the child node with the parent node during importing if the child node has the same name as the parent.
