Change a User Password in the Account Admin Portlet

The Account Admin portlet allows users to change passwords and other personal information.

The Account Admin portlet allows users to change passwords and other personal information.
If you have the Account Administration permission, you can change a user's password using the Edit User pane. See specifics steps in Using Account Admin.
If you only have the Change Password permission, you will see a pane containing your user information. Fields that cannot be changed will be grayed out.
Follow these steps:
  1. Open the Account Admin portlet.
  2. Enter the new password in the
    New Password
    and
    Confirm Password
    fields. Passwords must be at least six characters long and be identical.
  3. Click
    Update
    .
