The customizing options listed here apply to API Portal release 4.2.9 and later.
Apply your customization to all organizations by creating a custom global theme. Apply customization to a specific organization by selecting the organization.
To customize the page appearance:
- From the dashboard, selectAppearance.
- To customize page appearance for:
- All organizations, selectManage Global Theme.
- A specific organization, select the organization.
Restore Defaultsbutton at the bottom of the Manage Global Theme page has no confirmation dialog. If you select the button, all values are reset to the out-of-box defaults without confirmation.
Imagesto select and upload the favicon, and header/footer images for your Portal pages, as shown in the following example. To avoid a white box around your logo, make the PNG background transparent.
Font Colors, Sizes, and Type
Select the colors, font size, and font type you want to use in the content of your API Portal pages.
You can change Site Titles and Page Titles. Page Titles are 25 px are found in multiple places. Site Titles are 20 px and are restricted to

Custom Fontsselections allow you to upload custom font types:
- TrueType Font (TTF)
- Web Open Font Format (WOFF)
- Web Open Font Format 2.0 (WOFF2)
- Open Type Font (OTF)
- English only fonts
- Maximum of six font sets
- Latest versions of IE, Firefox, and Chrome
- If a font face is not found, does not work, or is not browser compatible, the default CA fonts are used.
Select the navigation item and customize the text label for the navigation item that displays in the
Publishmenu located at the top of your page.
You can edit any of the labels after you defined and saved them, by clicking the
editbutton in the text box for the navigation item.
Version Numberto display the Portal version number on the login screen. Select the
CA Copyrightto display the CA copyright information on the page footer.
