Installation Requirements
The following table lists the software and hardware installation requirements that

 supports:

Recommended:
 Dual-core processor
Memory
512MB
Recommended:
 A minimum of 512MB of heap and a maximum of 4 to 8 GB per Java container.
Operating Systems
A dedicated server running one of the following:
  • Redhat Enterprise Linux 6.0 and higher
  • CentOS 6.5 or higher
  • Windows 7
  • Windows 8
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012
  • Mac OSX 10.10
  • Amazon Linux 3.14
You can also install API Server in Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment, including AWS Elastic Beanstalk.
Admin Databases
  • MySQL 5.6.x (tested version: 5.6.23) with root user and password
  • MariaDB 10.x (tested version: 10.1) with root user and password
    MariaDB requires a minimum of 500 MB for tablespace. 1-10 GB is recommended.
  • PostgreSQL 9.0 or higher
      If you use a PostgreSQL version prior to 9.4, you cannot specify the schema. The admin data goes into the public schema.
  • Oracle 11g or higher
  • Microsoft SQL Server 11.0 or higher
  • Apache Derby/JavaDB version 10.10 or higher
    You can run
    CA Live API Creator
    with an embedded JavaDB database for demonstration and proof of concept (POC) purposes. MySQL and MariaDB are not required for these purposes.
