Data Types
The parameter data types that are listed in API Creator within a connection or listener are based on the type of connection or listener. The parameter data types are grouped and you can search them.
boolean Data Type

To add a value to a parameter data type of type 
object
:
  1. Click

    A dialog opens up with a coding input section.
  2. Select a code example or enter the JavaScript code that returns an object of the Java type of the parameter, and then click 
    Save
    .
    You can find Java type for a parameter by clicking the question mark icon that displays next to the parameter.

Property Parameter Data Types
Within connections, 
property
 parameter data types are advanced options. The values that you enter for 
property
 parameter data types are global to connections and specific to listeners. For example, if you enter values for the 
username
 and 
password
 properties for a JMSConsumer connection, all JMSConsumer listeners that use this connection use these values. However, the values that you add to these properties for a JMSConsumer listener are specific to that listener.
