SNAPSHOTACCESS—Restore Data from a SNAPSHOT Image Copy
The SNAPSHOTACCESS keyword restores data from a SNAPSHOT image copy.
The SNAPSHOTACCESS keyword restores a data set using a SNAPSHOT image copy. These image copies are created and registered in the Broadcom SYSCOPY table by using SNAPSHOTACCESS INSTANT processing in
Quick Copy. If necessary, the recover process applies log records.
You can restore data to the primary device in a peer-to-peer remote copy (PPRC) relationship by updating the Snapshot General Services initialization parameters for the device. Specify TGTPPRCP(YES) in the VOLGROUP statement. For more information about the VOLGROUP statement, see the
