COPY Command

The COPY command adds a new member to the library by copying an existing member. The member you want to copy must be in the library. The COPY function does not affect the original member. The new member is given a different name and is automatically placed in TEST, ENABLE, and ACTIVE status. In all other respects the copy is identical to the original, including the original modification level. The logical record length of the new (copied) member is the same as that of the existing member.
