Configure the RACF_UTF Backend

You can configure the RACF_UTF backend with the CA LDAP Server. Only CA Identity Manager and CA Privileged Access Manager (PAM) use this backend.

You can configure the RACF_UTF backend with the CA LDAP Server. Only CA Identity Manager and CA Privileged Access Manager (PAM) use this backend. CA Identity Manager also implements what is required for Identity Provisioning. This backend is not supported for use with any product other than CA Identity Manager and CA PAM. The RACF_UTF backend provides access to the IBM RACF security databases through the R_Admin callable service. For this reason, the userid that binds to CA LDAP requires a TSO segment.
Applications that use the R_Admin callable service require that you assign the TRUSTED attribute to the RACF subsystem address space. See Receive a RACF_UTF Backend Insufficient Access Authority Error for more details.
