The management objective to be tracked for evaluating the speed and consistency for all VM activity is an absolute measure of the number of VM Q1 drops that occurred within a specified number of seconds.
The only user option that applies to this report is the Total Service Objective, which is the overall average of VM users that entered queue 1 and were subsequently dropped within the installation's service objective (e.g., average Q1 service within three seconds).
&VMCDSECX defines the Q1 service time chart axis. &VMCSEC defines the target Q1 service time. Therefore, to define, a target Q1 service of one second or less, code:

The following figure illustrates the Daily VM Service Report based on a management objective of maintaining an average VM Q1 service interval time of less than one second. The sample report shown here quantifies the service provided with the horizontal reference line representing the hours of the day and the vertical reference line charting the average VM Q1 service time in seconds, as identified in the title.
The management objective for total VM service is shown by the dashed horizontal reference line printed across the chart. In the following figure, Daily VM Average Q1 Service Report, the reference line is shown at the three- second level of the vertical axis. Therefore, any hour for which the vertical bar exceeds this reference line signals that the VM service objective was missed for that hour.
