Usage considerations
This inquiry is produced from NPM Network data. The reference point for SENT, RECEIVED, and RETRANS (retransmitted data) is the host system, so SENT is usually the higher number. Retransmitted data is caused by errors between the sending and receiving nodes. You should investigate a noticeable bar for RETRANS because it can indicate a failing network component. You can review the inquiry Percent Temporary Errors to Traffic (SNTG302) to determine if the condition is caused by a failing link (line).
