DTO Print and Log File Disposition
The DTO Print and Log File Disposition parameter screen allows you to configure the print and Log files as required.

This parameter screen is displayed when you press PF key 5 from the Common Transfer Parameters screen.
The following figure shows a sample screen. Update the parameters as appropriate for your installation.

Print File Parameters
Keep on disk as __ __ __?
Specify this option if you wish to retain a copy of the Data Transfer report as a disk file. The name of the file may be specified.
Append to disk file?
Specify this option if you wish to keep the Data Transfer report on disk for more than one invocation of the data transfer process. If N (No) is specified, any existing report disk file will be replaced.
Send file to print at ___ ___?
Specify this option if you wish to send the Data Transfer report to print or to another userid. In the first field, enter the name of the system to which the printer is attached or leave blank if the printer is the local system printer or virtual printer of another user on the same system. In the second field, enter the name of the printer (e.g., SYSTEM for the local system printer, userid for another user, remote name for a printer attached to RSCS or to some other system, or LOCAL for the system printer on an MVS system).
Print class
Specify the class to be assigned to the report file when it is to be printed or sent to another user.
Print form
Specify the name of the printer form to be associated with the data transfer report when it is printed. VM systems typically use a default form name of 'STANDARD', and MVS systems use a default form name of 'STD'.
Display report at terminal ?
Specify this option if you wish to display the data transfer report at the terminal. No disk file will be created.
Console Spool File Parameters
Send file to print at ___ ___?
Specify this option to indicate the destination for the console spool file. In the first field, enter the node name of the system to which the printer is attached or leave blank if the printer is the local system printer. In the second field, enter the name of the printer (e.g., SYSTEM for the local system printer, userid for another user, remote name for a printer attached to RSCS or to some other system, or LOCAL for the system printer on an MVS system). The printer form that is used for the console file is the form specified in the PRINT FORM parameter.
(Start: Y|N)
Specify Y (Yes) if you wish to start the console spool file to trap terminal output when VMTWAITR and VMTXMIT are running.
Spool class
Specify the class to be assigned to the console spool file when it is to be printed or sent to another user.
Log File Parameters
Log file size
Specify this option to override the default limit of records kept in the VMTXMIT LOG file.
