PD Command - Purge Done

Use the PD command to immediately purge all files which have been E-marked.

Use the PD command to immediately purge all files that are in E status.
This command has the following format:
PD[,D=
aaaaaaaa
] [,T=
nnnn
]
  • D=
    aaaaaaaa
    Specifies the Node name that is the destination (target) of the command.
    Files in E status that match the destination are purged.
    Limits:
    1-8 characters
  • T=
    nnnn
    Specifies the number of hours before the current time.
    Files in E status that were last used more than
    nnnn
    hours before the current time are purged.
    Limits:
    1-8760
Examples
This command purges all files in E status:
PD
This command purges all files in E status whose destination is DEPTPRT1:
PD,D=DEPTPRT1
This command purges all files in E status that were printed more than 72 hours before the current time:
PD,T=72
This command purges all files in E status whose destination is DEPTPRT1 that were printed more than 48 hours before the current time:
PD,D=DEPTPRT1,T=48
