Resetting web quotas

Web Quotas reset automatically daily at 00:00 in the default time zone.
You can reset the quota allowances for rules or users to permit browsing beyond the quota's time or bandwidth limit.
  1. To reset web quotas for a rule or all rules
  2. Click
    Services
    >
    Web Security Services
    >
    Web URL Filtering
    >
    Policy Rules
    .
  3. If you set up at least one quota-based rule, the controls for clearing quotas are enabled.
    • To clear the quotas for all rules, click
      Clear All Quotas
      and then click
      OK
      .
    • To clear the quotas for a particular rule, select the rule, and then click
      Clear Quotas For Selected
      and then click
      OK
      .
    The quotas are cleared immediately. You do not need to click
    Save and Exit
    .
  4. To reset web quotas for a user or all users in custom groups
  5. Click
    Services
    >
    Web Security Services
    >
    Web URL Filtering
    >
    Custom Groups
    .
  6. Click the group that contains the users whose quotas you want to reset.
  7. Click the
    Users
    tab.
  8. Select the users whose quotas you want to reset.
  9. Click
    Clear Quotas For Selected
    and then click
    OK
    .
    The quotas are cleared immediately. You do not need to click
    Save and Exit
    .
  10. To reset web quotas for a user or all users in a synchronized group
  11. Click
    Services
    >
    Web Security Services
    >
    Tools
    >
    Group Synchronization
    .
  12. Click the
    Users
    tab.
  13. Select the users whose quotas you want to reset.
  14. Click
    Clear Quotas For Selected
    and then click
    OK
    .
    The quotas are cleared immediately. You do not need to click
    Save and Exit
