Viewing the details of a profile

There are two ways to view the details of a security profile.
  1. Go to the
    Manage > Profiles
    page.
  2. Select a profile.
  3. Alternatively, before you approve a notification you can:
  4. Go to the
    Monitor > Notifications
    page.
  5. Select a notification that is pending approval.
  6. Under the
    Analysis
    tab, click the security profile that is recommended by
    Operations Director
    .
    You are redirected to the profile details page.
The
Summary
tab displays the aggregated association of:
  • Tags associated to mandates.
  • Mandates associated to control statements.
  • Control statements associated to security products.
  • Security products associated to security policies. Policies that are recommended by
    Operations Director
    are prefixed with an asterisk (*).
The
Policies
tab displays the policies associated to the profile. You can click
Edit Profile
to navigate to the
Manage > Profiles > Edit Profile
page to add, edit, or delete policies.
The
Orchestrated Groups
tab shows the security groups such as
VMware NSX
security group,
Data Center Security: Server Advanced
groups, and
Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Firewall
address groups that are associated with the profile. It also shows the count of virtual machines that are part of the security group, and the policies that are applied. This is shown only if the profile is in
Applied
state or
Failed
state. There is no information shown in this tab when the profile is
Waiting, Pending Approval, or In progress
state.
