Secure
Devices that:
  • Have the client installed and are enrolled
  • Have all protections enabled
  • Have the most recent virus definitions
  • Have all threats remediated
Action
: None
Compromised
Devices that have unremediated threats.
Action
: Go to
Endpoint > My Tasks
to take action, such as denying any suspicious files.
At Risk
Devices that have old virus definitions or that have one of the protections disabled.
Action
: Go to the
Latest Tasks
widget.
Not Computed
The device is enrolled in the cloud console, but the status hasn't been communicated to the cloud yet.
Initializing
Devices that haven't been identified as either At Risk or Compromised. This status occurs within 1 hour after the client software is installed and before the cloud receives the client's operational status.
Missing Status
Devices that haven't been identified as either
At Risk
or
Compromised
1 hour after the cloud receives the client's operational status.
Out-of-date
Devices that have old virus definitions.
Action
: Run LiveUpdate to download the latest virus definitions.
Devices Needing Restart
Devices that have the client installed but need to be restarted.

: To restart these devices, go to the

Managed by Endpoint Protection Manager
Devices that are connected to the
Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager
and that are managed either by the cloud console or the management server. To get better protection from the cloud, migrate the client on these devices to
Endpoint Security
