Devices that have unremediated threats.
Action: Go to
Endpoint > My Tasksto take action, such as denying any suspicious files.
Devices that have old virus definitions or that have one of the protections disabled.
Action: Go to the
The device is enrolled in the cloud console, but the status hasn't been communicated to the cloud yet.
Devices that haven't been identified as either At Risk or Compromised. This status occurs within 1 hour after the client software is installed and before the cloud receives the client's operational status.
Devices that haven't been identified as either
Compromised1 hour after the cloud receives the client's operational status.
Devices that have old virus definitions.
Action: Run LiveUpdate to download the latest virus definitions.
Devices Needing Restart
Devices that have the client installed but need to be restarted.
Action: To restart these devices, go to the
Managed by Endpoint Protection Manager
Devices that are connected to the
Symantec Endpoint Protection Managerand that are managed either by the cloud console or the management server. To get better protection from the cloud, migrate the client on these devices to
Action: Install a new client installation package on these devices. After the devices restart, these clients connect directly to the cloud and bypass the
Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.
Devices that are unmanaged or managed by the
Symantec Endpoint Protection Managerand not enrolled in the cloud.
