Checking that the
Symantec Endpoint Security
devices are connected and protected

After you install the client and enroll the devices in the cloud console, you can check which devices have the client software installed on them, which clients are connected to the cloud service, and which devices are secure. You can also see on which devices you still need to take action.

Home

Endpoint Security
page.
  1. To check that the
    Symantec Endpoint Security
    clients are connected and protected
  2. In the cloud console, go to the
    Devices
    page.
  3. On the
    Managed Devices
    tab, select the device.
  4. On the
    Details
    tab, scroll down to the
    Device Protection Details
    section and look for the following information:
    • The
      Device Status
      field must be
      Online
      .
    • The
      Device Security Status
      field must be
      Secure
      to be protected.
