Troubleshooting identity provider issues

The following are the steps to troubleshoot common problems:

I am using a custom identity provider, and I am unable to sign in to the console.
This problem can happen if:
  • User is not added to the custom IDP provider.
  • IDP provider fails to complete the sign in process .

Configuring a SAML-based identity provider fails with a loginError=4. See:
The number of groups sent from SAML during the authentication is too large (> 500).
When configuring a new identity provider, make sure that SAML sends only the groups that are required for authorization checks.
