Removing a server from group management

Removing a server from group management does not uninstall SPE from the server. SPE continues to provide protection. However, you can no longer manage a server through the Symantec Protection Engine console when you remove it from the Global Group.
  1. To remove a server from group management
  2. In the console on the toolbar, click
    Scanners
    .
  3. In the
    Scanner Management
    window, under
    Scanners
    , from the Global Group - Windows or Global Group - Linux, select one or more servers that you want to remove.
  4. In the sidebar under
    Tasks
    , click
    Remove Server
    .
  5. In the confirmation dialog box, click
    OK
    .
  6. Click
    Close
    .
