You must update the <
environment_name>_environment.xml
file to add the agent name, and then import the xml file into the
Identity Manager
 environment.

Follow these steps:

  1. Unlike the directory exports, the environment export is in the form of a zip file. Drag a copy of the <
    environment_name>_environment.xml
     file out of the zip file.
  2. Update the <
    environment_name>_environment.xml
    file.
    Add

    agent="<CA SSO 4.x Agent_Name>"
    attribute
    at the end of the
    ImsEnvironment
     element.
    Example:
    <ImsEnvironment name="identityEnv" description="identityEnv Environment" directory="UserStore" provisioningdirectory="ProvStore" version="<Version>"
    alias="identityEnv" publicalias="pubidentityEnv" publicuser="<pubic user>" jobtimeout="15" basedir="http://<IP Address>:<port>/iam/im"
    corporateuser="<corporate user>" verbose="false" disablesmstorewrite="false" savefolderlocation="User working directory"
    imstemplatefile="identityEnv_environment_roles.xml" envsettingsfile="identityEnv_environment_settings.xml" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="imsconfig://schema/ImsEnvironment.xsd"
    agent="imadmin"
    />
  3. Save the file back into the zip file.
  4. Open the <
    environment name
    >_environment_roles.xml file, remove all the PASSWORD POLICY type managed objects, and then save the file back in to a zip file.
  5. Open the
    Identity Manager
     Management Console and click
    Environments
     and then
    Import
    the updated environment zip file.
  6. Click
    Finish
     and review the import output.
  7. Repeat this process for the remaining environments.
  8. Restart the environment.
