The coexistence utility runs the Windows Modules Installer plug-in to scan the computer for the Windows Modules Install service at the end of a Privileged Identity Manager installation and whenever the utility runs, as follows:
- Extracts the directory path of the executable of the service "TrusterInstaller" (ServicePath)
- Creates the following SPECIALPGM resource of type PBF:
This is the default action as defined in the response file.ServicePath
The response file determines the default action that the coexistence utility performs at prescribed stages (what to do before Privileged Identity Manager installation, after Privileged Identity Manager installation, and so on).
