User Properties, Native Tab

The Native tab of the user properties window displays native OS user properties.

The Native tab of the user properties window displays native OS user properties.
This tab contains the following fields in the General section:
  • Full Name
    Defines the full name that is associated with the native user.
  • Description
    Defines extra information that you want to record for the native user.
  • Send Email
    Defines the user for notifying when a resource or user generates an audit event.
This tab contains the following fields in the Password section:
  • Password
    Defines the native user password.
  • Save Password also in the Access Control Environment
    Specifies whether to save the password in the AC environment.
This tab contains the following fields in the Options section:
  • Target User
    Specifies the options that apply to the native user. 
    • Password never expires.
    • User must change password at next login.
    • Account locked out.
    • User cannot change password.
    • Account disabled.
This tab contains the following fields in the Login section:
  • Provide the login properties
    Defines the date on which an accessor becomes invalid.
This tab contains the following fields in the Time Restriction section:
  • Days Restriction
    Defines the native day restrictions that govern when an accessor can access a resource.
  • Time Restrictions
    Defines the native time restrictions that govern when an accessor can access a resource.
This tab contains the following fields in the User Privileges section:
  • Select User Privileges
    Specifies the available native user privileges and the ones that are selected for the user.
This tab contains the following fields in the Account Information section:
  • Home Directory
    Defines the home directory of the native user. Users log in to their home directories automatically.
     
  • Profile Script
    Defines the name of the login script file. The script file can be a .CMD, .EXE, or .BAT file.
     
  • Profile Path
    Defines a path to the profile of the native user. You can use a local absolute path, or a UNC path.
