Export Root Certificates

In the Certificate Authorities List, you can export the root CA information to a file. To export the data, select the Action, Export next to any entry.

In the Certificate Authorities List, you can export the root CA information to a file. To export the data, select the Action, Export next to any entry.
The Export Key Store Entry dialog contains the following settings:
  • Alias
    Displays the alias that is associated with the Certificate Authority.
  • Type
    Indicates that the entry is a Certificate Authority or trusted root certificate.
  • Format
    Defines the format of the certificate file you are creating with the exported data.
    Options:
    X509-DER, X509-PEM
  • Export Certificate
    Indicates that the system intends to export the certificate. This check box is for informational purposes only.
  • Export Certificate Chain
    Indicates that the system intends to export the certificate chain. This check box is for informational purposes only.
  • Export Private Key
    Indicates that the system intends to export the private key. This check box is for informational purposes only.
After you complete the fields in this dialog, click Export to export the data. The browser prompts you to save the resulting data to a file on your local system.
