The only setting you can modify on this dialog if you are modifying a connection is the connection name.
This General Group Box contains the following settings:
  • Connection Name
Names the connection between the Administrative UI and the Policy Server. Connection names appear in the Server list on the
    CA Single Sign-On
    Administrative UI login screen.
A single Administrative UI can connect to any of the connections that appear in the Server List. Enter a name that easily identifies the Policy Server to which administrators are connecting.
    Example 1:
    Staging
    Example 2:
    Production
  • Policy Server Host
Specifies the IP address or machine name of the system hosting Policy Server to which you are connecting. This system is where you ran the registration tool (xpsregclient) to create the client name and passphrase.
  • Policy Server Port

    Default:

  • Client Name
Specifies the name you entered when running the registration tool. The Policy Server uses the client name to identify the Administrative UI.

  • FIPS 140-2

The Advanced Group Box contains the following setting:

    Default:
    75
  • Default Connection
Specifies if the Policy Server connection name appears at the top of the Server list on the Administrative UI login screen.
    Note:
Only one Policy Server connection can be enabled as the default connection.
