Letting users reset their Active Directory password

The Password Management feature helps the users reset their expired Active Directory password.
If you enable the Password Management feature, users can manually reset their Active Directory password.
Prerequisites
To enable the Password Management feature, you must ensure the following prerequisites:
  • You must use Active Directory as the user store.
  • You must configure your user store for SSL to secure communications on the VIP Enterprise Gateway server.
  • You must configure the Validation server to which the Active Directory user store is associated in either User ID - LDAP Password - Security Code or User ID - LDAP Password - Security Code (RADIUS Access Challenge Mode) authentication mode.

To use the Password Management feature, you must enable it in three places; in the user store, in the Validation server, and in the Self Service Portal or My VIP portal:
