Trusted CA certificates
Review information about trusted root CA certificates and issuing CA certificates in VIP Enterprise Gateway.
If an SSL certificate is not issued by a public CA, you must add the root CA certificate and any issuing CA certificates into your Trusted CA store in VIP Enterprise Gateway. All CA certificates in your VIP Enterprise Gateway Trusted CA stores are displayed on the
Trusted CA Certificates
page. The certificate files are listed in alphabetical order, by the friendly name (Alias). Click the CA name to view the following information about each CA certificate.
Certificate Detail | Description |
|---|---|
Alias | The certificate name. |
Serial number | The certificate serial number. |
Issuer DN (Distinguished Name) | Certificate issuer DN information. |
Subject DN | Certificate subject DN information. |
Cert | An identifying hash value. |
Not valid before | The date and time after which the certificate becomes valid. |
Not valid after | The date and time after which the certificate is no longer valid. |
From this page, you can also perform the following actions:
- Delete a CA certificate. ClickDeletein theActioncolumn next to the CA certificate you want to delete. For example, you may want to delete expired certificates. You will not be able to use any non-public SSL certificate issued by that CA.
- Add a Trusted CA or CA chain to VIP Enterprise Gateway.
