Setting group policies on Active Directory Domain Services

Complete the following step to set group policies on the Active Directory Domain Services computer:
  1. You can use Group Policy and Active Directory Domain Services to add RD Gateway policy settings.
    • From the Group Policy Editor, navigate to
      Local computer policy > User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > RD Gateway
      .
    • Apply the following Group Policy settings:
      GPO Setting
      Enable/Disable
      “Allow users to change this setting” check box
      GPO Setting Value
      Set RD Gateway authentication method
      Enabled
      Unchecked
      Use locally logged-on credentials
      Enable Connection through RD Gateway
      Enabled
      Unchecked
      N/A
      Set RD Gateway Server address
      Enabled
      Unchecked
      Provide a dummy value for the setting
      Set RD Gateway server address
