Starting DLP Agent Updates Using LiveUpdate

You can start DLP agent updates for one or more deployment groups from the
LiveUpdate
page of the Enforce Server administration console.
  • Update the DLP Agents across your organization to at least version 16.0.
  • Verify the list of agents that are qualified to recieve updates through LiveUpdate.

  1. In the Enforce Server administration console, navigate to
    System > Agents > LiveUpdate
    .
  2. On the
    LiveUpdate
    page, select the deployment groups for which you want to initialize agent updates, and click
    Start LiveUpdate
    .
  3. In the confirmation dialog box, click
    Export Agents
    to download the list of agents that are will receive an update. Ensure that all of the required agents are listed.
  4. Do one of the following steps:
    • To deploy the most recent hotfix, select
      Upgrade agents to the latest hotfix
      . This option requires agents to be at version 16.0 or later.
    • To choose the update that you want to deploy, select
      Upgrade agents to the specified version
      , and then type the version number of the update in the
      Agent Version
      box. This option requires agents to be at version 16.0  or later.
      To confirm the update version number, review the list of available updates. See Checking for Agent Updates Using LiveUpdate.
  5. Click
    Start LiveUpdate
    .
    While updates are in progress, you can generate a progress report to view the update status for individual agents. See Generating LiveUpdate Progress Reports.
