Update the JRE using silent mode
- Log on as a root user.
- Create directory called/JREMigrationUtility.
- Move theJREMigrationUtility.zipfile to/JREMigrationUtilitydirectory.
- UnzipJREMigrationUtility.zip.
- Open command prompt and navigate to the Migrator directory.

After the migration process completes, you have the option to delete the previous version directory (at
/opt/AdoptOpenJRE/jdk8u
), where previous version refers to the previous JRE version. You can also safely leave the previous JRE version on the server.<previous_version>
