Adding a Separator Widget
A separator widget is a horizontal area used to separate widgets. For example, a separator widget might be used to separate a row of pie chart widgets from a row of metric widgets. It can include one line of text. The separator spans the width of the dashboard.
Separator widgets are only used in VBOX (vertical) layouts.
To add a separator widget, do the following:
- Drag the separator widget to the Build Dashboard area.
- Click
(gear) on the widget to edit the settings. - Enter a title for the widget. This title is displayed on the dashboard.
- (Optional) ClickEditnext to Text Color to select a color for the text.
- (Optional) ClickEditnext to Background Color to select a background color.
- Enter the height for the separator. The minimum height is 40 pixels.
- ClickSaveto save the widget settings.
- ClickSaveto save the dashboard.
